A ceramics and watercolor workshop, designed to reconnect, create, and share. Over the course of a day (8 hours), you will explore the slab-building technique and create a magnificent stoneware teapot from start to finish, which you will personalize as you wish. You will then capture this unforgettable moment and its atmosphere in your watercolor sketchbook... The trainees are divided into two groups: 🫖One group begins with ceramics , guided by Nathalie, 🎨The other group immortalizes the moment with a watercolor , framed by Isabelle. 🔄 At midday, the roles are reversed — everyone experiences both. You don’t need to be an expert in watercolour techniques or the art of ceramics. Isabelle and Nathalie will guide you step by step throughout the day. What’s included: Materials and raw ingredients Snacks during breaks A convivial meal An exceptional setting: the Grenier Occitan park, right in the heart of Occitanie Plenty of good cheer, and unique memories! 180 €/pers (excluding accommodation) Are you looking for an ‘all-inclusive’ package (course + accommodation + meals)? Contact us The programme Day 1: 9h-13h / 14h-18h Welcome with a hot drink, followed by an explanation of safety guidelines and best practice in a ceramics workshop A quick theoretical overview of working with stoneware with Nathalie : advantages, limitations, characteristics… everything you need to know to ensure success! The group then splits into two for around 1½ hours: - In the ceramics group: everyone makes their own teapot from stoneware slabs (already provided), supported and guided by Nathalie. - Meanwhile, the watercolourists sketch the various stages of production and the atmosphere of the workshop, with help and advice from Isabelle. - Then we swap roles : the watercolourists make their teapots whilst the potters sketch the scenes in the workshop. One-hour lunch break , taken together. In the afternoon, we swap roles following the same principle as in the morning : - The first group finishes making and decorating the teapot, whilst the other group continues to capture these moments in watercolour (it is also possible to stroll through the park and paint the views, weather permitting). - Finally, the groups swap roles after around 1½ to 2 hours This mixed workshop allows us to adapt to each participant’s pace: decorating and finishing the teapot, working on the watercolour sketchbook in more detail... it’s up to you! - Wine degustation | Le Grenier Occitan
